Domains of competence: Event Marketing, Marketing and Event Management, Strategic Marketing, International Marketing, Public Relations PhD in economics, marketing specialization, since 2010.


Author of Books: “Marketing and Event Management” appeared in 2014 and “Event Marketing: Fairs and Exhibitions” appeared in 2015 at ASE Bucharest Publishing House.

One of the co-authors of the Romanian edition of ”Introduction in Marketing” published with the help of Educational Center Publishing House. Single author or coauthor of more than 70 articles published in prestigious scientific journals, or presented at different international conferences.


Research areas

The areas of ​​research and interest are especially on strategic marketing, corporate and non-corporate events, and on the events that appeal to the stakeholders of the internal and external environment of the organization.


Career development

In 2019, he graduated the M.A. program “English Language Education and Research Communication for Business and Economics”, in 2015, he obtained his Postdoctoral degree in Economic Sciences, specialization, Marketing. His post-doctorate was granted by the Romanian Academy where he held the dissertation titled “Impact of Events on Local and Regional Sustainable Development”, at which time, for one month he studied at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. In 2010, he submitted the Doctoral Thesis, entitled, “Communication Strategies in Marketing Events“. During the Doctoral School, he conducted a 3-D research, both among the event audience, organizations that communicate with the help of the event, and event organizing companies. In 2006 he graduated the Marketing Faculty from the “Public Relations in Marketing” M.A. program and in 2004, he graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Marketing Specialization.
