This course is intended to give students an overview of financial reporting and analysis and its key principles, concepts and practices, from a manager prospective. The course, will cover many important topics (financial reporting macro and micro components, various accounting options to disclose revenues, impairment, foreign exchange conversions, valuation techniques, provisions, deferred taxation, leasing, advance financial analysis , behavior of costs, full costs and their uses, costing methods, variance analyses, strategic planning and budgeting, reporting and evaluation,) using problems and case studies relevant to the Romanian and international environment.
